Boscastle village, re-born after the flash flooding of 16th August 2004. The convective storm which caused the flooding saw 75mm of rainfall in two hours. This recognisable bubbly cumulous cloud is often seen in parts of the UK. The whole parking area seen in the background was under gallons of fast-moving water – cars included. The town has now built a new defence system and monitoring markers are installed upstream on the river.
