In England we had an unusually freezing and damp spring. I call it two coat weather as one coat doesn't keep the cold out.
It's the 28th of May. And it's freezing. The North of England has several beach 'resorts'. They are all pretty tacky. Why take it. It's mid afternoon, there is nobody on the beach, it's blowing a gale. A typical memory of a day at the British seaside. You wonder why we nearly all go abroad for our hols.

It's so windy even the woman's hair in the poster is blowing the same way - you've really caught the wind well and that well known feeling of tacky British windswept resorts......the pull of warmer climes beckons!!

mate, its so...english :-))
cant help it but i love this image - i wonder how many untold stories this kiosk keeps for "himself";
i;m so much pleased with the extraordinary variety of the goods for sale exhibited around the kiosk, it reminds me some late 1980s in poland, same "mood", bit more colourful, ...or is it right after some nuclear "holocaust"?

Hi Mark,
I like this shot of the kiosk ... so colourful against the grey sky and sea. Nice to sea the colourful beachtoys for kids and the tristesse and no people around there.
