Photographer's Note
Just up the road from Frontierland (see yesterdays post) I came across this, a paddle pool used for kids in the summer overlooked by a boarded up and desolate structure.

man, you are ONE OF US, you off-main-roads vagabound :-))
i live this sort of decaying-world style, decadent, documentary, with loads of "best time is gone" feel in it;
superb!

Hello Mark,
A very good documentary shot of urban or is it seaside decay. I like the composition with the boarded up building the background and the broken paving and other detritus in the foreground. Good work.

The second empty swimming pool I comment today ; )
Here also the emptiness is making the photo... I love the colors.

Ohohoh, this is the kind of shot I really love... totally absurd... a Jim Jarmush kind of bizarreness that draws me in, Mark... excellent pov and wide angle, works perfectly. And that FUNFAIR sign, that is the absolutely delicious cherry on this fine cake!
tc,
sasa
will be back
