In the twentieth century, a dispute arose over whether Iran or Persia is the correct name for the country. On 21 March 1935, the ruler of the country, Reza Shah Pahlavi, issued a decree asking foreign delegates to use the term Iran in formal correspondence in accordance with the fact that "Persia" was a term used for a country called "Iran" in Persian.Opponents claimed that this act brought cultural damage to the country and separated Iran from its past in the West. The 1979 Revolution led to the establishment of the present day theocracy that is officially called the Islamic Republic of Iran, but the noun Persia and the adjective Persian are still used.

Dear Markos

I red what you have in the note section from Wikopedia and I must say that I still havent managed to see any connection between what you have said and the picture you have set!!
1: That picture is from Assyrian artefacts and palaces which was once located in Iraq!
2: It is not from Persia, Mede, Elam or any Pre-Aryan tribes that were living in Iranian-Plate
3: The people who are taking pictures from the Museum, have Arabic covers and their Hijab indicates that they are from the Arab countries around the Persian Gulf!!
So I dont really see any connection between the photo and Iran, Persia, Aryans, or anything else you have mentioned in your note and title.
However, I like to thank you for putting such note as it could be educational.

Hola Markos, que curiosa toma que tenemos acá. En principio pensé que se trataban de estatuas, pero no. Resulta que son las personas en una posición estática listas para tomar fotografías. hehehe. Muy curioso ciertamente! Me ha gustado. Buena nota también!!! Un saludo amigo!

En cualquier caso, hacer fotos en un museo no suele ser tarea fácil y, la verdad, el resultado me gusta. El nińo posando es genial.

Has captado un momento muy interesante, me gusta la pose de estas cuatro personas y la composición que crean, cada una dedicada a su tarea, sin pensar en nada más, te felicito por estar atento y tener buen instinto fotográfico, la calidad de la imagen es buena sin nada que objetar. Hola Markos,

Me gusta mucho por la situacion, algo comica y muy interesante gráficamente. Las ropas de las mujeres y los bajos-relevos le dan un ar exótico.

Tecnicamente está muy buena (exposicion, colores y nitidez), especialmente para un interior.

La nota está muy interesante, pero no me parece adecuada al tema. Me entristece un póco que incurras en eso tan comun en el Ocidente que és lo de meter en la misma bolsa Arabes, Iranis y Musulmanes.

La verdad es que obtienes un resultado haces buen manejo de la luz, este tipo de fotos son complicadas. Yo prefiero no opinar sobre el tema y quedarme con este gran trabajo.

Seeing yr photo & reading yr note,
was like looking at myself from out of myself.
U've captured a moment which is formes so naturally & completely by accident (I mean the composition & the gesture of each personnage)yet so beautifully framed & captured.
how come this world is such an strange place.

This is the Assyrian section from Mesopotamia that is located in present Iraq. The people in the picture are also Iraqi as I can distinguish them from their clothes.
