Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

How lovely to be able to post a photograph on Monday morning! I am on holiday today, the sky is blue and it feels just wonderful!

This is a shot that I took at the weekend! It is a photograph of an old farmouse on the edge of the Lancashire Moors where it merges with Yorkshire. Beyond the horizon, is the moorland made so famous by the Bronte sisters!

In the foreground you will be able to see the traditional dry stone wall, so characteristic of this part of the country!

The colours are not strong because it is a typical winter's day but I hope it gives some idea of the wild and wonderful landscape in this part of N.W.England.

Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of this photograph! :-)
