Photographer's Note
Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all having a relaxing weekend.
Today, I am continuing my theme of farmhouses in and around my local area.
This is a second farm in the area of Lothersdale. To see information about Lothersdale from my previous post please press Here
Because I took this shot whilst out walking, I only had my casio camera which was hand held.
Thanks to the good advice of Kath (Feather), I have put all the farmhouses into a theme.
Thank you for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. :-)

Hallo Beverley!
What a wonderful view! I like the many details one can detect in your pin sharp photo very much. The shadows of the clouds and the walls give an interesting additional effect. A truly beautiful landscape!
Greetings from cold and rainy Germany!

Hello Beverley
What a beautiful landscape !
Your POV is very effective to enhance the relief of the hills and we can observe the different cutted areas.
Very nice colors, very soft and natural.
The stones at the foreground are very well seen and make an elegant border to your picture.
Nice composition, as usual.
It's a good idea to gather all your pictures about farmhouses in a theme.

Karine

Hello Beverley,
Green fields divided by trees and stone barriers are creates splendid texture and you saw it excellently. Slope of hill, shadows of clouds and stone barrier at foreground completes your photo nicely and you captured very well in perfect sharpness, untouched, natural colors that I like it a lot too. Congratulations.
Best Regards,

Hi Bev, this is excellent for a 3MP camera. Nice mixture of sunlight and shadows on the hills and good framing from the wall and branches.
This is not too far from me, and this view looks a little familiar - is it taken from somewhere up towards Pinhaw Beacon?
cheers

Hi Bev,
This a particulary sweet looking Spring image. Love your POV from behind the well detailed old stone fence. The lovely roling hillside and adjoining hill and hidden valley gives marvelous depth. Wonderful lines created by the patchwork of fence and the scattered livestock adds great scale and lines to this first class image.

Hello Beverley,
The view here is very pretty. I like the patterns created by the rock fences in the distance. I think you did a very good job cloning wires because I don't see anywhere n the image where the clonning was applied. Pretty place and very relaxed image. Thanks Beverley.

Bonjour,

It's amazing how good the quality can be with a simple point and shoot. I suspect this would have more more difficult to achieve with your DSLR as the close wall may have been out of focus without lots of care with DOF and focal point. I love the dappled light on the hills. It is a beautiful view and well framed with the wall and the budding branches. Well done
We drove over to the Dales on Thursday to Ingleton and did the Waterfalls Walk.

Hello Beverley,
An interesting composition by bringing in different foreground elements!
The rural spring scenery tells the story of the season, with the pale green fields and budding leaves...
The slowly rolling hills are attractive, and I think I can spot some sheep in a distance..?!

Hi Beverly.
Excellent picture where the wall creates a good frame and the deep is also very good. You made a good composition and this one looks a very good landscape.
Well done.

Hello Bev
The wall at the bottom and the branches on the left frame this scene so well. I love the patchwork effect of the rolling landscape, proving that the UK has some of the finest countryside in Europe. Impossible to get such a picture here in Suffolk as everything is so flat. We do get big skies though!! ;-)
Best wishes

Hello Beverley,
A typical English landscape, green fields and stones barrier-fences between different lots, and maybe sheep grazing somewhere there...
Beautiful nature, charming photo.
Good afternoon,
Ike
