Lighthouse, a photo from Paphos, West

Photographer's Note

The lighthouse in Paphos was built in 1888 when Cyprus was under under British rule. The island was an important military point controlling the route of ships traveling through the Suez Canal to the colonies.
Its light is 36 m above the sea and can be seen for 17 miles.

A few days ago I posted a photo of the lighthouse, but all commenters missed the sea, today a photo of the lighthouse with the sea :)

Hello Ryszard,
It's a very pleasant photo with attractive colours. The lighthouse and the red roof are good focal-points. Whichever way I watch this left to right, up to down it's a very well balanced photo.

Ryszard, the picture is divided in three layers : the sky, the land and the sea. The lighthouse signals the coastline to the ships approaching Paphos. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

A good view from the water of the lighthouse and the small building next to it, both built on top of the cliffs and green fields. Fine pastel colours in the bright sunlight.

Love the sense of compressed perspective from your zoom shot of this beautiful well detailed old lighthouse. This jutting structure looks so good in the sunshine with excellent colour contrast to green and blues! But wonder what that guy is doing! Great capture, Congrats

Bardzo ładny widok tej latarni morskiej i domku latarnika obok. bardzo daleki ma zasięg ta latarnia. Najbardziej mi się podoba ten ludzik. Śliczne zdjecie.
