Following the Nomads

In addition to her daily responsibilities in a nomadic life, a nomad woman may weave a simple kind of carpet in her leisure time which is called Jajim (coarse) or other hand-woven products like cashmere, shawl, and different cloths.

In this shot, I liked the role of the powerful lady!

Salam Atousa. It would be a good thing if more of us could live in a world with no borders, where the green fields went on forever, full of wild flowers and songs of skylarks. But then it was never so and often enough the land was barren as in your photo. Still, it is nice to dream about how our forefathers did have more space and were closer to nature than we are. An interesting shot of this special way of life, nomadism...The POV from behind makes us feel we are inside the little "caravan" Light and sharpness are well controlled. The dog and horse leg are cut, but no big problem there!

Yes, it look like you are just walking and fllowing them. Very nice shot of the darily life image. Good sense of movement, Ideally it would have been nice to see the front or the profile of the person and horse in the middle is also hidden. But with so much going one and they are on the move, so I know it is not easy to get a perfect composition, but this is still very enjoyable. Thanks.

I can see why you call the woman powerful frome the excellent detail you captured of her impressive entourage. The horses and the dogs all appear to be healthy and of excellent quality. Are the sheep ahead hers as well?

An old old friend on TE..Atousa..salam alaikum my friend, where have you been, studying, family ? - yeah the nomands have always intrigued me, i did make it to the remote corners of the himalayas to connect, only to find that they have not surfaced owing to freak weather all over, summer was delayed this time around by a month but still i managed to make something..

i can imagine you being there and talking with gestures etc, they have a language of their own,

i'd love to read the travelogue

Salam Atousa, I admire this shot for many reasons. There is a real sense of dynamism and movement here, not to mention powere and strength in the nomad lady. The subjects having their backs to the camera also add to the exotic and mysterious nature of the lives of these people. The colours and sharpness are great, it is a very natural, very strong shot. Like the diagonal created by the woman on the horseback trailed by the dogs. Liked the WS version as well, but I do agree with you that this is more powerful composition. Just wish the horse hoofs & dog legs weren't cut. Otherwise a fine work!
