Photographer's Note
The tower at Al-Mamoun communications center in the Al-Mansour district in Baghdad continues to stand as a reminder of the former Iraqi regime. Often seen as a background image and a vision unto itself, Saddam's tower remains intact after receiving two direct hits of precision enhanced bombs (JDAMs).
This photo offers a unique and rare view, looking out from the base of that tower, through one of the holes made by one of those two bombs, onto the compound guarded by US troops and beyond to the headquarters of the Iraqi National Congress.

A rare shot indeed, maybe not too sharp in places, but reportage, your work continues to stand on its own.

Wow Bill, another amazing shot. What a view! Your note is also fantastic, sure you are not a journalist? ;)! Anyway, hope you are safe.
Take care and God bless!
