Two old tractors left to rust.
The picture was taken while visiting same rural village farm, Orot, east of Ashdod, south to Rekhovot, at 31.741, 34.7333 on the map.

Hello Ike,
The nearest tractor looks like a monument to the early days of mechanized agriculture. I have a feeling it has left the "junk" phase and is becoming a cultural heritage. It's about time to move it from this farmyard to a museum. It's a fascinating object, actually quite beautiful, and the very sharp photo does it full justice.

The first tractor with caterpillars it seems a undercarriage of a tank.
It are real two for a museum

Hello Ike, what a pity that the tractors have been left to rust, yet on the other hand, they make a great subject for a photographer!
I dont know why but rust gives objects a certain kind of beauty.
I would have taken shots of these machines too if I had been there!

the rust adds a nice red color. As sad as it is to see old and damaged items they are always a feast for us photographers who look for items with a character. Very well spotted here. Great light and level of contrast.

An original and very different composition, these two tractors even in their ruin and rust, it is seen that one day they were powerful and modern, now they are a relic of the past with the new machinery.

Rusted vehicles can be good subjects for a picture.
The details here are quite sharp and the exposure is balanced.

i love these old subjects, even old people...haha. but these are better. I could only imagine what type of damage the hot sun would do, just throwing its hot rays at it every day.

Actually a good example of industrial heritage.
Good sharp photo with good view of the details.
The colour contrast between the rust colour and the green environment makes the photo very attractive.

These rusty behemoths stand alone and abandoned in the fields. Good sharpness, lighting and warm cold colour contrasts. The brown fg earth contrasts well with the bg greenery. Tfs!

This old agricultural machinery was by then rightly 'the talk of the countryside' that, in our modern days, turned into pieces of rural museums.
I consider you pay a nice tribute to the inventors of the last century and to the improvised mechanics who had to fix 'in the fields' temporary breakdowns.
An interesting piece of anthology!
