Photographer's Note
Four pictures (3 WS's) from a small park in a north-eastern neighborhood of Tel-Aviv, 32.109, 34.8162 location on the map.
Dancing Eshels trees I named it, as each tree "found" a different way to "express" itself. Eshel is a Tamarisk tree in Hebrew.
All pictures are RAW, main post is F7.1, 1/160, ISO200, cropped a bit from the lower part.

***
1) I Must thanks Malgo for correcting the name of those trees, obviously are local Tamarisk and not Oaks. Pronounces E-SHE-L.
2) Not much wind around this neighborhood, maybe a soft-soil ground caused this phenomenon.

Hello Ike,
I wondered at the title when I first saw it, but having looked at the three images, I can see it is quite apt. All are well realised demonstrating fine light management. Pleasant natural tones and excellent sharpness.

Hello Ike,
The lean to the right suggests strong winds at certain times of the year. Good sharpness and excellent repetition of patterns colours and shapes formed by the trees. Tfs!

Hi Ike,
The length of the park is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the oak trees. The light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
A good capture of these low trees and all their beautiful shapes. I like the filtered light through the foliage above. The green and warm tones go very nicely together too.

Bonjour Ike,

Hello, Ike.
A fantastic photo with this forest of oaks, all with those trunks inclined in the same direction, if it is like the dance to which the wind takes them.
Magnificent color, which gives great strength to the image.
Very good brightness and sharpness.
Well done. I like very much.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.

Hi Ike
ya, hard to make a choice between this one and WS #2. I wonder what makes the trees fall or bend/lean like that, usually its wind right? and over the years the tree just tends to lean over to one side? you'd never really know or can tell that this is Tel Aviv, but then again how would i know haha. Cool and funky nature shot. I also wonder how close this is to the city centre. nice. cheers

Hello Ike These trees had a competent stage coach for such an elegant performance, as if they were blown by a twister. Attractive oddity, for shure! Shalom

Hello Ike,
The trees have taken very interesting shapes, area must be very windy. However those leaves do not look like oak leaves. Can they be a type of cypress? At any rate, they make a pretty scene. 👍👍

Hello Ike,
I suspect that there are strong winds blowing from one direction (from the sea?) making all these trees lean in the other direction. Also noteworthy is the arid soil of the forest. I've never seen such strong trunks in sandy soil.
It's a very beautiful view with the dark trunks breaking through the green foliage.
Three very remarkable forest pictures, well presented.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ike, Very interesting view of these "dancing" oaks. And what is the reason they grow like this? But why do you name them oaks? They have not leaves. They are kind of conifers.
Have a nice day

Ciao Ike
ogni foto un movimento diverso, proprio come una danza, anche se questa è una danza naturale e il movimento viene effettuato con i tempi della natura.
Molto bello, ottima riflessione.

Hi Ike,
I would love to live in a drier climate with not much wind...
Fantastic capture, very interesting phenomenon indeed. It would rather indicate strong winds...
Great light and colors. Charming place for a walk.

Etonnante photo avec tous ces arbres déformés. On pourrait imaginer un souffle puissant obligeant ces arbres à se plier.
Joli !

Hello Ike,
Trees can be very expressive and often make great subjects for photography.
You are right about these trees, they do seem to be in a dance formation!
They are the Strictly Come Dancing entrants for Israel!
A fine series of photographs showing many different moves with great clarity!±
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ike,
This is an interesting set of photos I missed while I was on a journey. I would have thought these trees had been the victims of a steady daily strong wind, but obviously that is not the case. But their strange shapes are fascinating and give the photos an amazing rhythm. Like they are actually dancing. The fine light and sharpness enhances the pleasure of watching these compositions.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Ike,
I had a closer look at your latest photos and most were architecture, buildings, transportation etc.
So... That’s why I chose this one to write a few words to you.
I remember in the late sixties that my grand-father, who used to be a gardener for big houses and castles in our region, planted a pink tamarisk in our new garden.
Our family just moved to a bigger and new house and there was a room for him. He was 80 and he came to live with us after a long and tough life of hard working. And of course he planned the garden with many flowers and plants we - the children - never saw before... And the Pink Tamarisk absolutely enchanted me!!! :)
Thank you for the fine memories your photo brought me...
Amicalement,
Viviane

Hi Ike,
Another picture of distortion, but this time real and very elegant !
Indeed, they look like dancing trees.
I wondered why they all leaned forward in the same direction ? Wind ? Sandy , unstable ground ? Well, you explained it all in your extended note.
Thaks for sharing this very interesting spot.
Kindest regards.
Marie-Louise.

Hello Ike, amazing phenomenon, all the trees belonging to the same species are leaning. The wind isn't responsible for that distortion. Relevant nature observation. Lovely park to discover.
