Photographer's Note

I continue with photos from my visit to Petra in Jordan in 1995. Again I prefer to use a less known sight for the main upload, instead of any of the famous buildings that have been posted here before.

As you can see, a visit to Petra involves a lot of climbing up steep hills, at least if you are reasonably ambitious and want to see the important places. Steep hills provide good views, and this is one of them. I don't remember exactly where this is, but it shows the environment generally and how you sometimes have to walk along canyons when going from one area to another. This is not the Siq, shown in my last upload, but somewhere in the "city center".
