Photographer's Note
When I saw this young woman walking towards the ruins above, I knew I had my shot: something to give a sense of perspective to the enormity of the columns. Thanks to earthquakes, they are all that is left of the Temple of Jupiter, but it boggles the mind to think that they were erected two millennia ago.

Hello Silke! Nice composition! and you are right about the woman giving perspective. The coloums are really huge!
Did you try it in B/W, or sepia? Because the colors here could be a lot more saturated!
Good work!

Hi Silke, it's a nice composition and POV. The colours make it look aged, like those replicas of old postcards that can be found in Lebanon, even the woman is wearing something classic that can place her back in the 70's, when the inferno hadn't yet started in Lebanon. I really like this intemporal aspect, regards, Betty

Hi Silke,
it must be an impressive place - I'd also like to visit it sometime, but I think in these times it's a little dangerous.
I think you scanned this shot - I like the colours and your POV, thanks and greetings
