Photographer's Note
Women making carpet were migrated from east part of Turkey and they built houses near the Velvet Castle (kadife Kale)in İzmir. They are so poor peaple, at this photo they are making carpet by hands and using old equipments, and than they try to sell them to tourists who comes to wist castle,
i took photo from inside of the castle.

This is a very creative picture. Your perspective is fantastic...and the colors in the yarn are perfect. The other colors in the photo appear washed out though compared to the yarn. Great shot though! Nicely seen and captured,

Great capture. It looks as if you are riding a river of color. Great description of the lives the people lead and look into how carpets are made by hand.

I like very much the vivid colours in the forground, with the finished rugs shown in more subdued hues. Had the rugs been more vivid, I think the depth in the foreground would be diminished. Cleverly done.
