Today I am posting a landscape from the Van region, actually between Van and Dogu Beyazit, the extreme east of Turkey, close to the Iranian border. It is a very wild country, and spring comes only in mid-june.

Perfect use of opposite colours in nature. The only way this image could have looked better would be at a different time of day with side lighting hitting the distant hills. It is a great landscape indeed.
