Photographer's Note

The egyptian spice market was one of the things I enjoyed most in Istanbul. The smell of spices fills the air and everything is so colourful.
You can also find lots of turkish delight- all colours and tastes,and also plenty of turkish apple tea. It is more of a market than the big bazzar and is easy to reach from the square near the 'new mosque' opposite Galata bridge.

I almost feel their smell from here, and I can assure you they're really good !!

I miss 'real' spices like those... Yesterday I bought some cummin here in stockholm, but it has no taste at all :(
