Thirst, a photo from Kocaeli, Marmara

Photographer's Note

The Menekshe Plateau is situated in ~30kms south of Kocaeli. It's altitude is around 1000meters and has a wonderful flora. That year, a villager decided to breed turkeys who eat mainly the grasshoppers. He had to take them out in the planes everyday and he was stopping on the watering troughs so that the thirsty birds could drink.
I think this bird was their leader, because it was the only one who could drink without the crowd and pushing around. You can see the real crowd from here.

Nice shot. You caught it just at the right moment. I think this shot might have looked good cropped so that the top of the top rail was at the top of the photograph.
I also like the bird that is looking at the cammera.

Hi Sayat, cute shot, nicely isolated from "the crowd", good texture and nice compo. I like the feathers, and the waterdrops and you have 2 guys looking at the camera, right? (on fg and in the shadows on bg) Regards, Daniel

Nicely isolated dear Sayat. I see two of these chaps looking at you with interest. Only when we see the WS we can see the crowd. Details are well captured...like the water drops frozen in mid air. Good work!
