I thought I would never comment on a picture of two cats. I must say that this is really great. (What's wrong with me? Am I losing my edge?) First of all, the two cats adopt extremely different interactions with the camera. The one on the left doesn't care, lies around lazily, barely alert of the shutter of the camera. The one on the right does absolutely the opposite: crouches at the sound, eyes wide open for the potential threat. Centering one of the cats allows the other to be on the third. The stone wall starts from the middle of the left frame and disappears on the bottom right corner, allowing the dead space on the right not to feel wasted. On the top of the frame there happen to be two boats. Just perfect. Two cats, two boats. The choice of a short tele lens produces a flattening of the perspective that confuses the observer on the relative distances between the cats and the boats, making the boats figure prominently in the picture even if they are further away and out of focus due to the narrowing of the depth of field.
This picture could have been still not worked out due to the processing. But not, the slightly dark 'print', making the water almost black works out well. The full range of black to white is covered, although with the contrast it's fairly dark.
In overal, really good.

Sağol Maruf,
Güzel bir fikir olmuş; iki kayık, iki kedi :)
Renkli olsaydı baraj gölünün yeşilliği ferahlatırdı ama neyse :)
Saygıyla...
