Photographer's Note

Smoking a pipe was always an activity that I liked to see,because my father tried it 25 year ago,and he was so impressive sitting in his chair with an wooden pipe lost in reading for hours
The second person who impressed me with his pipe I met in Istanbul.He seems a pipe smoking oracle of wisdom :)

Good morning dear Isabela,
What a good surprise for me, this Sunday morning !
I am not going to write something about the photographic qualities -which is absolutely top class- but about the smoker.
This capture remains only a good reminder to those good times; after having smoked for almost 50 years pipe I had to give it up last january !
So this nice portrait will be mine next screensaver !

There is a face on his's smoke,don't you think?That look,eyes,kisses and lug are apperaing.Also Mr.Mesut's impressively smoking.

Hi Isabela,
superb portrait really. What struck me first was the sharpness of the shot and the light uin those curls of smoke. very evocative, I love it.
