Photographer's Note

The egyptian spice market is conveniently located near the galata brindge in the old city and nearby the 'New mosque' which I posted yesterday. The sights and smells of spices and Turkish delight are just what a tourist would imagine when you mention the near east. Well worth a visit and you had better come hungry!

This is an interesting pic with some nice colours. Surely nice smells too. Nice compo with the tool in the foreground. I didnt know there was a spice called "barbecau" ;°)

Oh I wish I could shovel some of these through my screen! Some fresh saffron. Some apple tea. At least to be able to smell them. Colours and composition are great. Thanks for sharing.

Trčs belle panoplies de couleurs. J'aime beaucoup les photos dans les marchés justement pour leur couleur, mais aussi pour l'imagination des parfums qu'elle peut engendrer.
