Photographer's Note

The picture of Kiz Kulesi (maidens tower) in İstanbul. Lots of stories has been told in its history, but romanticly the maidens tower became the most popular name atributed to the story of princess being left there for protection.
There are many classical views of the tower with the Istanbul silhouette behind. But last couple of years the city hall has been placing glass pannels by the sea side for the decoration. But I am afraid they are like the epitaph of the fishes which are no longer present in Marmara sea because of pollution. The Maiden tower has been repaired and refurbished couple of years ago,and now open to public. But I am afraid it is much impossible to repair the sea of Marmara for its inhabitants and open it to the fishes. So this might be an upsetting sign telling ,we must get used to seeing the marine life inhabitants on the decorative glass pannels placed by the seaside , like in the picture. Hope you like it.
