Photographer's Note
From “ WWF-Turkey”
As one of the best examples of Euro-Siberian vegetation in the Mediterranean countries, the area is an Important Plant Area with good samples of old, undisturbed mixed deciduous forests, including patches of Strandja oak (Q. hartwissiana), common yew (Taxus baccata), riverine oriental plane (Platanus orientalis). These forests are also rich in terms of wildlife: brown bear, roe deer, red deer, lynx and wolf are the main large mammal species. There are two Nature Reserves in the area but these areas do not cover the whole area for complete protection. Therefore, there is a need for enlarging these protection areas to represent all the intact forests.

Hi Talat, I love the colours in this photo. I like how the waterfall is tiered. It looks like a wonderful place to visit. TFS Janice
