Photographer's Note

Hey there,

Well, this is probably the millionth photo of The Blue Mosque in Istanbul, but what the heck.

Funny thing about Istanbul, thought it would be warm in the end of April, but its really freezing in the evenings, especially if a cold wind blows. I was shaking all the time at night, had two sweaters on, but it didnt help much, while the day temperatures rose to about 25°C or more.

Yet I percieved it as a very safe city, I had no problems there, running around with my camera and tripod in the middle of the night, all the way from Sultanahmed to the bus station all all around. Quite unsual for a city of its size (10 millions).

Model: NIKON D50
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows

Focal Length: 18 mm
Date Taken: 2006-04-24 19:24
Metering Mode: Pattern
File Size: 164 kb

Did the usual in photoshop. Cropped it a bit, changed the colors and clearnes with the exposure function. Sharpened it and framed it.

Comments, thoughts, advise appreciated.
See you around.
