Photographer's Note

Getting ready is the name of this photo taken on the Southside Road. I was trying some at ten at framing, using the crab pots, with the Battery in the background. In order to achieve this effect, I used an F-stop of 13, I. S. O. 500, focal length 100, and shutter speed 1/160; the small F-stop of 13 keeps the background in focus.

Very interesting location with all those colorful wooden houses, with those rocky cliffs right behind them!
Very attractive picture with excellent sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, colors, horizontal format, contrasts, composition and overall pp!

Trčs réussi comme cadrage et il montre bien ce que tu voulais montrer.. Cest incroyable d'avoir bâti une maison ŕ cet endroit. Les couleurs sont magnifiques .

Hi Jim.
Good composition here, with baskets and nets in foreground and rugged steep rocks in the back. Nice, understated colours and a real sense of what this place is like. Terrific combination of nature and human contrivance.
