Photographer's Note

Thanks to Rafal (Jinju) who has inspired me with his
kick today.

Canada and USA are very unique when it comes to this sport, first of all we call it soccer not football, secondly the popularity of the sport is mariginal at best, you can probably list dozen of sports before soccer/football that are more popular, for crying out loud even curling (don't feel bad if you don't know what is curling - poeple running with brooms and throwing a round piece of something on ice) is more popular than soccer. Any of the so called popularity is created by first generation immigrants who follow their Italian, Portugese or English leagues, then comes the world cup every four years, and we all (first generation immigrants) follow our old teams. There is even some degree of controversy as some of the non-first generation immigrants oppose non-canadian flag waving.

Question for all of you, what are the other countries where soccer/football's popularity is NIL or marginal?
