Very scary photo! I love the mood you've captured here. The low POV, the dry straw in the foreground, barren trees, and of course black & white. Nice effect.

Seneca77 above said exactly what I was going to say. Well done!

great expressive and moody picture! It brings a strong feeling of a cold and late fall nature's desolation. B&W is very good choice here. Though I'm not sure about some thick straws on the picture (on the left, for instance), i think they rather break the view of the great bared trees, and also about the one that 'cuts' the right third of the image. But overall great impressive picture with superb PoV.

What lurks within the lonely cottage! This is like the start of a Victorian horror movie.
The choice of pov and b/w is great. Its a very unusual shot here on TE. Thanks for posting.
One suggestion, IMHO, the image would do better with a little less of the ground and more of the sky. The increased amount of sky would make the cottage appear more distant, smaller, and lonelier still thus increasing the forbidding mood.

yeah nice shot!
the angle you took this photo and the position behind the grass is just perfect...
the B&W gives a dramatic look, like a haunted house...
nice :)
