Photographer's Note

A+ tiM../.

Apologies if my French is not up to the task of understanding your note, but I gather you're sorry you forgot to bring your tripod for this one - a slow shutter-speed would have been nice to blur out the water a bit, but it's still a lovely image - well done and thanks for sharing it

Hi Martin. Yes that's a shame about you not having a tripod here. The sharpness could be better plus then you could try a longer exposure. Still beautiful Martin.

Hello Martin
Beautiful stream in the forest. I like the rough water and the illumination of the trees.

Hi Martin,
Quickly flowing rivers and streams fed by the melting snow - a sure sign of spring! I'm sure you're glad to have some warmer weather!
This is a really nice pic. I love the colours, your use of light, your beautiful composition, and the excellent image quality. It is a shame you didn't have your tripod: I know it would have enabled you to be more creative but, even without it, this is still outstandingly good work.
Hugs,
Tony

Hi Martin,
All of the dynamism of spring runoff is present here, with good perspective. A tripod would have helped you catch the water better, but also a neutral density filter. I like the lighting in the upper half of the frame in the trees. Well captured.

Bonjour martin,
Un bon point de vue de ce ruisseau, le mouvement de l'eau est un atout pour la photo. La photo a une bonne composition et de belles couleurs.

Hi Martin, A nice PoV to this cascade of waterfall. You have brought us to the deep of the woods to enjoy the flood of the spring water. Nice to use the light and excellent contrast. Well done.

Hey Martin,
Great POV. The river running among the trees created a dramatic view. VEry nice colors and superb capture of the coming light.

Hi Martin,
Even without your tripod, you captured a lovely scene! I like how the water flows around the trees and rocks and over the foreground log. The lighting is pretty and the natural composition is wonderful. Nice work!

Hi again Martin. Thanks for yr kind words on norwegian/swedish mountains. Yes - we do have some to climb, but I guess wildlife in Canada is more of the same?
My french is also a but rusty, but also get the impression you're lacking a tripod for this one. Would definately have given the creamy look of it. Will look for similar motives this spring!
Thanks!
