Low water levels this year again. Photo taken in Montreal-East. Usually, in spring and summer, this small dock is completly on the water. Rain is lacking and the same problem is there on The Great Lakes. This can cause problems for the shipping industry sinc the cargo ships must not load as much to be in concordance to the water level so as to not hit the bottom in the St-Lawrence Seaway...

This photo really says it all doesn't it. Amazing that the water has dropped so. But I guess with all the heat we've had an the lack of rain, not enough ice cover in the winter it all adds up...good documentary photo. TFS

Hi Laurent.
Nice to see you're active here on TE. Quite informative note - in Denmark we have had more rain than usual this year. I hope that hasn't come to stay. We did not get any snow last winter so I - and my boys... - hope for a white season this year.
