With life's little twists and turns, it has been months since I last posted here....nice to be back:-)
And what a pleasant surprise and coincidence it was to log onto TE and find this same location captured by another TE member taken the same day.See Isabelle's Misty Mountains
Isabelle caught her magical moments while fishing along this beautiful river valley while my encounter with this celestial scene came as I canoed a section just a little further upstream.

The combination hot humid weather, rain clouds and the occasional burst of sun provided a spectacle of swirling fog and mist that no photo can really do justice to.One of those situations where "you had to be there" to sense the ethereal magic of the moment.

The park section of Jacques Cartier River valley is truly one of Canada's jewels for canoeing and hiking...and even fishing :-) For some of the canoeing images of this particular outing, click HERE

Wow, great landscape you've captured here. The U shape of the valley is very beautiful and the mist makes it a magical scene.

I think your view of heaven is very pessimistic. I am hoping for sunshine and puffy little clouds in my heaven.

Nevertheless, I like the way you have captured the clouds pouring through the gap between the hills. It looks like a great place to go canoeing.

So very nice to see something from you again.
You came back with a beautiful photo. The curves formed by the mountains are just wonderful and almost sensual. the green trees in the foreground bring a spalsh of color to the foggy atmosphere of this photo.
I find this sky beautiful almost mythical.

Very good shot! What a coincidence! It's such a funny thing that we were both there on that same day, being charmed by the sight of this place being magical! I'm glad that it happened and thanks for the kind comments on my photo! I like yours very much too.

Not a flashy pic but a very moody and powerful one, with the sun trying to pierce into the clouds..one day or another the sun wins... I really appreciated your pics on your Club Rabaska site... what a great time you must have.
