Photographer's Note
Climbers are progressing on an ice route called La Dame Blanche " Lady on white". Just on the right side of Montmorency Falls, the ambiance is amazing.
Process: Levels; saturation; brightness; unsharp mask; cropped.

Wow, this is very impressive, Steeve. The verical format gives more power to this icy rock. and the "small" people, too. There are so many nice tones in the ice - greans, yellows, blues. Very nice! Well done, Steeve.

Truly amazing!! I absolutely adhore this shot!
As stated already, the climbers add scale and the vertical composition a must here. The tones and the hints of colour add so much. Very well done indeed!
I'm curious, with all this white, how much exposure compensation did you use here, or did the 300D get this right all on it's own?

This is amazing! The colors and textures are so real, I felt a little chill and a little fear of hights just looking at it. The climbers give the proportions and the realistic atmosphere, and the waterfall on the left makes the whole scene (and climbers!) even more admirable than they were.

Beautiful shot. You have caught so much detail in the bright white ice. The vertical format is excellent. My admiration goes to you for being able to get to a position to take this shot.

Really great shot of the falls and of your sport. The balance of white is just perfect here and the composition with the two climbers is marvelous. I really enjoy the play of the light on the ice.
A superb shot dude.

The scale factor with those small humans make this picture. And of course the well balanced tones of whites. Well done!

Excellent composition with this climber in front of the great crystal castle. The climber in the upper part adds a lot to the dramatic setting from the frozen waterfall.

Bravo!

Really a great shot. The smooth area on the lower left leading to the incredible texture on the right. The way you've framed the shot is wonderful. It adds more feel to the height.
I'd like to see the climber lightened just a bit

Just one word for me : splendid! Great composition, crisp and sharp! Very interesting to see the guy up there AND the other one, still on the ground, linked by the rope. The ice is beautiful, and I like also to see their trace on the lower left side. Great shot!

Some day i wish i get to see a sight like this. Ice can be so beautifull and you have given such power to it by your composition. Must be a very difficult shot to make. Isn't it easy to fool the camera in those situations?

Great vertical cropping!

Really magnificent work Steeve! This belongs on some climbing magazine cover! The composition is very strong and shows both the scale and relationship between climber and ice cliff. Wonderfully done!

An incredible shot, Steve. The detail is amazing - I can even see the red rope linking the two climbers. Good textures and a nice contrast between the hard ice and the new smooth snow. The footprints are a nice touch.

C'est bien fait, tout en nuances.
Bravo Steeve.

Steeve!

An impressive ice block, and the inlcusion of the mountaineer gives a clear sense of scale. Congrats...
I would suggest two things: gradual toning in the middle to give more texture to the whites, and a larger crop horizontally to have more grasp of the foggy part on the left.
Regards,
Erdem
