Photographer's Note

Spring flowers in Cates Park. Cates Park is in North Vancouver on the way to Deep Cove. Right at the entrance to the park there were lots of cherry blossoms, crocuses, tulips, and daffodils. Spring is finally here. A picture must!!

It is a beautiful comp presented in a different way..Simple,but still it has "something"..Nice focus and colours..And beautiful details from the trees and flowers..

I will agree about Spring!I just have to add that maybe a bigger size of your photo would add even more to it's beauty,mainly cause more details would be visible..But as i said it still is a beautiful comp..Well done..

Heather interesting framing and nice effect seen in this photo. I might be right in assuming that the photo is from North Van because of the slope. Nice work on the creative side.

Interesting presentation and a lovely scene, but I'm unsure of the saturation/ desaturation thing going on here. I would also agree that a larger picture here would have been better.

Very creative idea - It shows me your interest in visual experiements! I would like it much more if the inner frame was thinner.
