Photographer's Note

This was taken by the Kennedy River, on the way to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. The river at this point carves through a rock area and a seep gorge. On the top of the gorge there are some nice pools of water that seem to have formed in the gooves left by glaciers. There are long grooves in the rock, all running in the same direction, accompanied by scratches or striations. I would have like to explore more, but as you can see the sun was already down and it very quickly got dark.
