Inside The Colosseum

It is not easy to find a photo of a building which has recently been shown by Craig (#1 and #2) and my father (#1 and #2) as well. Probably a (the only) disadvantage of TE-meetings. ;-) But here is my version of the Vancouver Public Library, nonetheless. It shows the main atrium of the building.

Vancouver Public Library was established in 1869 and has since become the third-largest public library system in Canada with 22 branches throughout the Vancouver Metro area. The Central Branch of the library is located in Downtown Vancouver. Its building was designed by Moshe Safdie and Vancouver-based architectural firm DA Architects. It was completed in 1995. Its exterior resembles the Colosseum in Rome (see my father’s photos for a better look at the building).
