Photographer's Note
This picture of Brockton Point Lighthouse was taken on Vancouver's World Famous 11.5 km sea wall walk. North Vancouver is in the background with the entrance into Burrard Inlet and our harbour that freighters take supplies to all parts of the world. The yellow peak in the background is sulphur ready for exporting.
Vancouver has a very busy harbour. It is fun to watch the various seaplanes, float planes, ferries, yachts, and cruise boats as you walk the seawall. Sometimes we get fog in this area with the sun shinning above and below with the fog in the middle. At these times the fog horn goes on. You don't hear it very often, but when you do it is exciting!
There is no snow on these mountains now, but very soon it will appear and the view will change to all white mountains with a hint of blue/grey.

Am I dreaming, or does that red and white tower tilt to the right ever so slightly? It doesn't really matter. i love the tower against the mountainous backdrop. Vibrant and interesting photo!

Nice photo Cathy. The colors are great. I like very much the contrast of the vivid white and red against the overall blue tones.
The contrast of the sea against the mountains it's also very interesting.
