This is the Sylvia Hotel in downtown Vancouver. Picture was taking on the night of the annual symphony of fireworks (czech republic) night. Every summer Vancouver hosts a fireworks competition. For 4 nights of the summer we have different countries come and put on a fireworks display choreographed to music. This is one of the most popular events of the summer here in Vancouver, and if you want a seat on the beach or along the water, then you have to arrive hours inadvance. So as some of my friends held our spot on the beach, I took a waunder and came across the Sylvia Hotel. Soo pretty with all the ivy growing up all sides of the hotel. Apparently all the rooms are booked years inadvance for the fireworks night; all the rooms have a great view looking over the water at the fireworks barge.
Photo modifications include: cropping and increasing contrast.

We also have a annual fireworks competition in Montréal. Like the one you have in Vancouver, it is a must!
What I like here is having kept the street sign in the picture. Capturing on picture the ivy on this building is a very good idea.
