Photographer's Note
I'm moving out of my current basement apartment soon and I thought I would take pics from around the neighbourhood before I do. For the next few days I thought I'd share a few on TE.
As the title says, this is the house on the corner. I walk by it pretty much everyday.
I like how the houses are all a little different. Quite unlike the cookie-cutter suburbs of Toronto.
Post-pro: select home, sky, and tree to diff layers. Levels and curves adjusted seperately for each.

This is an interesting image. At first I was not very convinced but after some seconds it became more and more pleasing. I guess it's because of the "lomo" colors stile combined with a great softness in the house facade.
Personally I would clone out that element in the top left. It brakes the harmony and simplicity of the composition. I would also reduce the brightness in the tree as it competes with the window for attention.
