Hello Jim,
Happy new year! I really like this view of St. John's, too. There are so many details to look at; I can sit here for a while searching the photo for new things. I like the colors, the block of red row houses, the church. Nice view!

Hey Jim.

You have definitely a reason to call this a favorite. Not saying that you have bad photos...hehe, not at all...but this is a very good one! All the houses in front look nice because of ALL those colors. The big church steals a bit of my attention, so I'm glad you haven't placed it in the middle. Nice work!

What an amazing composition and what a sight to have seen with your own eyes! The such colourful houses in the foreground look like toy houses compared with the one large building in the centre left area. Quite bizarre and a favourite. Tfs, Marlene

Excellent shot, you've managed to show us the beauty of Canadian eastern coast. Indeed, this is a fantastic view of the city with all those houses with their distinctively Newfoundland colors which seem like small boxes in a diorama. Great Capture!!
