Photographer's Note
The Maple trees in Vancouver are very big and old. We enjoy picking the leaves, any leaf, but hoping to get a red one (all red)! We could spend hours collecting leaves. This picture was taken in upper class area of Shaugnessy Heights, where tall, old, Maple trees line both sides of driveways. I went walking on a sunny morning and brought my camera to capture the brillant colours of these Maples. Near where I used to live there is a place with lots of these trees with grandiose homes on both sides of the street and very little traffic. Just as I was ready to take the picture a car went by and sent all the wonderful leaves cascading down. They fit nicely into the picture and you can see them in mid flight.

these fall colours are superbly caught nice touch with the falling leaves , notes are very nice.
the leaves in the top of the picture need sharpening a bit to bring them back into focus, possibly use sharpen tool and a soft brush set on about 35% and make passes till it looks more in focus.

Beautiful colour and moody.
I love the tone of the tree and especially that falling of the leaves

Unconventional composition for a tree but works so well. Maybe a bit cropping at the bottom and a added a bit of contrast would further help the image.

The colours are great but I agree that there needs to be some sharpening of the image. I don't know why but my eye keeps getting drawn to the window in the background; maybe a different angle.
