Photographer's Note
I walk the Stanley Park Seawall every other day and this is the beautiful view from there. Many birds live in the little tuft of trees on top. Legend has it that an Indian Princess jumped to her death and turned to stone (this rock). At night the site is particularly beautiful.

It always amazes me how some trees manage to cling to life in the most unimaginable earthless environments...this is another example of that determination. Thanks for the view Cathy. It is a perplexing decision, but I am wondering if there should be some CCW rotation or even more drastically, cropping out part of the cityscape to focus entirely on the rustic nature of the rock formation.

Je suis d'accord avec Derek.
Ce rocher mérite certes d'ętre photographié, mais l'image est centrée.
Une prise de vue avec un éclairage latéral donnera une meilleure profondeur ŕ l'image.
I agree with Derek.
This rock deserves to be photographed, but the subject is centered. A catch of sight with a side lighting will give a better depth to the picture.
