Photographer's Note
Again taken on the same day as the other post. This is the same tree a little closer. I still remember the sigh of relief comming in from the cold into Tim Hortons. It was cold that night around -5degC. This is taken next to the locks. All you could hear in the background was the sound of the water. I'm really surprised no one has fallen into those locks recently. There's no fence or anything around them.

Very pensive (to me) ... like going home after a day's work, or after a sports game or something. I feel satisfied, I'm going home and I am totally anticipating to put my feet up and relax.

Chris what a delight to see with the tree bing lit up with street lighting. It makes for very interesting shadows and gives such a 3D effect. good work!

Excellent picture that show's Ottawa in a light that few people ever experience. I really like technically challenging shots like this where the light is so difficult to work with. The detail and colour you were able to catch in this shot are outstanding. Well done.
