Photographer's Note

Place Ville-Marie, with its characteristic cruciform shape and its vast underground shopping malls was built between 1959 and 1962.
The shape of this 42-storey building, with its international style, had been used elsewhere but remained innovative nonetheless. This "modern-day cross," a shape chosen on functional and economic grounds, would rapidly become a symbol of Montreal.

Hey Dominic...nice image. I like your choice of portrait to harmonise with the vertical form of the highrise buildings. There are also contrasting horizontal lines from the buildings' windows...Well done. There is a little noise particularly obvious in the sky, if you could remove this it would be perfect.
Cheers
