Photographer's Note

For thousands of years the Coast Salish people have called the area now known as Vancouver home. Their history and cultural traditions, upholding a deep respect for nature and humanity, are tightly woven into the city's cultural fabric.

It’s possible to see some sample of their craft in Stanley Park, one of North America's largest urban parks. Totem poles area has long been considered the most visited tourist attraction in British Columbia.

In the background, under the ever present clouds, you can see the beginning of the Rockies.

For this shot, I had something like fifteen minutes, between two raining sessions...
