Photographer's Note
Thought I'd post something other than animals today! Suprisingly this photo was taken at the Toronto Zoo. While other people were busy looking at the animals, I found this beautiful little patch of berries. It was late in the afternoon and I took advantage of the great lighting.
**Post Pro - Cropped, curves, USM (as it was not as sharp as I'd like it) and ran the image through NeatImage to remove some of the grain.

Very nice. This combination of red and green as well as light and shadow are really nice. I like how the berries are almost translucent and the frame with this thin green light is cool.

Nice one Pamela. I agree with Nina - the red and green works very well here as well as your composition.

Excellent! Very nice composition, lighting is perfect and the narrow DOF works very well here. Green and red is always a winner - even outside the holiday season - but you spotted something extra here.
Well seen and well captured.

The great lighting really makes this shot. You've very well taken advantage of it. The berries act like littles bulbs. Your DOF is very short, but as the image is more evocative of light and colors, IMO, it doesn't matter much. A very pleasant composition.

Lovely shades here, Pamela. Great DOF. And good clarity on the berries.

Nice shot Pamela, the colours are beautifull, very good depth of field, it's nice to see something else than snow by those days
