Repost of this photo in square format. I felt that the previous post in "landscape" mode didn't bring up the detail on the boat due to the max lenght or width restriction... I'm also very interested in how folks react to a photo like this. Is the reflection of the boat in the water worth the square format, or would it be preferable to have less reflection and a rectangle?

Hi Jay,
I like this one the way it is. I think it's nice to have almost the whole reflection. I also like the overall composition. I always think of Sambro Head in this sort of light. I might have cropped out that black thing on the right, but otherwise, this is a great photo. THANKS!

"If it isn't broken, don't fix it" seems to apply here.
I like the photo the way you've presented it.
Good composition, GREAT BG and the contrast with the red buoy makes the photo worth admiring!!

I looked to your album and I liked sea pictures as this one who looks very french too... like in Brittany.
On june 15th to 17th, there will be in Cancale the 20th anniversary of the old ship bisquine Cancalaise with a lot of old ships. You can follow certainly on web if you like.
