Photographer's Note
I haven't had much time recently to visit TE as I have been busy getting ready for the busy spring planting season on our dairy and grain farm.
With the snow finally gone from the fields, it is time to get the harrow out to soften up the soil and aerate the earth.
This large "offset harrow" discs deep into the soil and mulches in the freshly applied manure, leaving a rich seedbed for the planting of crops in the weeks ahead. The rusted discs have been waiting anxiously to do their spring work. After a few turns around the field, these discs will be shining like polished silver from the friction against the soil.
When time permits,I will be posting photos of the progress of planting season and its activities.

Hi Derek, very nice picture of this harrow. The light iss beautiful and gives it a very warm tone. The way you cropped it, is great. Thanks.

And it is the same thing with the tools of my trade, no need for rust protection on excavator buckets too.
I like your tight crop and the way you used more than half of the picture for the harrow.
Nice to learn some vocabulary too, it is "harv" in Swedish. I guess we borrowed that somewhere.

Belle composition Derek, les tons orangés se marient bien avec le sol. Le choix du thčme est aussi intéressant,
Félicitations

This is a fantastic combination of warm colours and textures, Derek! The light is wonderful too, as well as is the way you composed your shot. Goes straight to my favourites. Excellent capture!
