Photographer's Note
Early moring in San Cristobal. The town is not fully awake yet. This Maya woman has trudged up the hill to the town outskirts to her work. She knocks at the door, waits, knocks again, waits, and knocks again. The household is asleep. Outside, the garbage collectors have done their jobs and left. A few folks, like the smartly dressed woman in the distance, probably a worker in an office or a shop in the town center, are already on the move. But this woman in blue shawl keeps knocking at the door, yet the lady of the blue household does not answer.

Beautiful image, Animesh, and a beautiful note. Every morning Jamuna comes knocking, usually we don't keep her waiting, but sometimes we are not aawke and she has to knock some.
The blue on blue is surprisingly cool. You are rather lucky to get all these colour combinations. The red skirt has enhanced the effect. The morning sheen on the sidewalk surface and the lady perhaps out on a morning stroll add to the overall effect.

hello Animesh. my goodness, that is a lot of blue!! I like how the woman's pinkish skirt stands out so much on that vast blueness. a good scene indeed.

Hi Animesh, yes I agree with Nara, a lot of BLUE... As usual a very nice compo with that little space on the right giveing the needed perspective to the shot... TFS Bala

Not just the colour mood make me impress to this pic. The walking man ( or woman), and the cars on the right side explained the hole situation at that morning.
