Photographer's Note

On the Malecon, "The Subtle Rock Earter" is a 2.4m high bronze and obsidian sculpture that depicts a magician in melting clothing holding several stones in his right hand. With stomach protuding and back gently arched, his left arm and hand being artistically poised above his head, preparing to drop an egg shaped stone into his mouth.
At mid plane, four troubadours tethered to an high revolving platform play high pitch wind instruments. The fourth performer is hidden behind the palm tree.
All were seated on the top platform at the show beginning.
