Photographer's Note

In my last post I mentioned the problems of driving up Glen Lyon because of the narrow single-track road there and, true to form, this is what caused me to have to stop my journey from the upper part of the glen down the road to Loch Tay. The twisty narrow road was completely blocked by an oil tanker which was delivering fuel to a little isolated building by the side of the road. I believe that the building housed a generator to provide electric power. So I just had to wait for about twenty minutes until the truckman had finished his business. But I was in no hurry.

You can see exactly where this was taken if you click on Map:view and you can also use the little yellow man to explore the road. You can see the little building too. And the weather was obviously much sunnier when the little Google man was there too - the mountains weren't obscured by cloud as they were when I took this picture!
