Photographer's Note

"Recursive shooting" in Nepal:

1. Go for a day hike a few miles south of Kathmandu, and stop at Bungamati, a small and colorful Newari village famous for its woodcarving tradition (and of which I will post some pics in the future)
2. Find three incredibly cute kids
3. Take a picture of them with your mobile phone, and show it to them
4. Now, while they are looking at it, take the *real* picture! :)

Hi Alberto!
I do it often,but not with a mobile phone.I show the result on the camera`s monitor or since last year the next day on I pad.
A great shot of these three.I like a lot their big curious eyes and facial expressions.

Very clever stuff, and a really cute and beautiful result. If I had a mobile that actually worked I might be tempted to do the same, though probably not in Nepal, at least for the forseeable future!

I always think these are wonderful shots to look at..when you show little ones how the look in a photograph..the expressions are just great to see. And you have captured some really expressons here...from the little tongue peeking out there on the middle one, to the little boy's curiousity on the right. Just very nicely done here. Must have been cute little kids to meet, too.

I like this picture very much. The childs are totaly in here own world. It was a good idea withe two photos, I think i will test it at the next hollydays too ;-).
