We enjoy art. We try to produce art. We collect art. We admire those who create art. What is it that makes us so drawn to art?
Art welcomes us a to new realm full of new ideas, new concepts, new ideologies, new possibilities. We suddenly find ourselves in the inner world of a fellow human being. All humanity sharing a common thread, we identify ourselves with the artist. A soft voice whispers inside us Ah, that is so true. Uncannily apt. And we realise we are not alone in how we perceive, how we interpret and how we feel. An exquisite piece of art often symbolies that which is universal, yet so rare; ideas we all know, but never realised. It delves into our subconscious and brings up details that were till now collectively unknown to the human consciousness...

Hi Korkut,
this dark silhouette fits perfectly the B&W mood of this photo.
I like how you composed it and the proportions you left on the right side with those big screens.
The art squares reminds me some slides.

... and yet the appreciation of art, the experience of it, is something so personal that it cannot be really shared with others - at least as far as I am concerned :)
this image is composed in such a clean, clear-cut way that it almost looks "created" - the human silhouette, the black panels, the pictures on the wall... as if you had been given Lego bricks and tiny figures and you had put it together exactly the way you wanted it :)

Hello Korkut! Art can do both to me, it can refresh me and I return strong and powerful and it can also leave me empty and I think what was that whereas others probably return refreshed. I once visited a museum and there was a little group that discussed one painting. One hour later they were still standing there discussing the same painting. I would not go THAT far ... LOL ... Its great to come back onto TE from time to time and still see one person constantly producing fantastic photos.

Love the black and white work here, the gallery is futuristic like with its striking white against the silhouette.
